S. Subhashini, whose brother Surjith was arrested for accusing the killing of the planned caste Youth of Kavin Selvaganesh, on Thursday (July 31, 2025), released a video in which she and the victim was in love. She argued that her parents of the police inspector, defended in the company, were “innocent”.
Siddha practicing claimed that Kavin asked her to reveal his relationship with his parents after six months “because he wanted to settle” (in his career). Surjith, however, told his parents about their affair on May 30. “When my father asked me, I denied that I was in love.”
According to her, Surjith wanted Kavin to meet her parents because he felt that her marriage would prepare a way for his “progress”.
Mrs. Subhashini said she asked Kavin to meet her 28 July. On July 27, however, he came to a clinic where she worked with her grandfather, who had stitches on his head. She claimed that he left when he explained to his mother and others.
“When they were about to leave the clinic, we realized that Kavin wasn’t there. Our attempts to get over the phone were failed. Because Kavin’s mother was hungry, I asked her to go for lunch and told her she would come to them,” she said. “But everything (murder) happened afterwards,” she said.
While she did not explain why her brother killed Kavina, she urged people to “stop speculating”, and claimed that her parents did not know (about crime).
