Police CEO (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta ordered police officers to immediately book cases against people and take strict steps.
Labeling World Day against Trading with Human-2025, DGP, along with other DGP (Law & Order) N. Madhusudhan Reddy, IgP and Women & Child Safety Wing In-Ude B. Raja Kumari on Wednesday for AP poster on the police headquarters.
Mr. Gupta stressed that it is necessary to act not only against people traders, but also to those who are dealing with trading people. He said that the wing of women and children’s security actively supports victims, including the provision of financial assistance.
Referring to the recent conviction-life imprisonment in the guntur and the seven-year prison in Kadapa-DGP warned against the serious consequences for the perpetrators.
He said that anti-human trading units (Ahtus) were functional in all 26 districts under Mahila’s police stations. Citizens are asked to report any information about trading trading through SAKTHI, DIAL 112 or WhatsApp to 7993485111.
