Immediately after the United States imposed a 25 % tariff on Indian products, the opposition killed the decision of President Donald Trump and said he had offended India. The AAM AADMI (AAP) and Congress Party responded to the US decision to charge 25 % of the tariff.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh said Donald Trump has ridiculed India for too long, suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi “should be against” and formulated a strategy to India that would respond to 25 % of tariffs.

The MP Mallu Congress said, “In our country we are afraid to take the name of the US President and agree with what they say (we). Therefore (Trump) imposed 25 % tax on our import and export and even threatened to impose a punishment. This is not acceptable to India.”

“The government is considering Trump as a friend, but in fact he slapped us; Indian traders suffer. We will cause all problems in parliament,” he said.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Ashok Chavan said that the Minister of Commerce is regularly in contact with the US to create a business agreement.
“I do not think that President Trump’s decision is coming after a consensus or a discussion. Our Minister of Trade was in regular contact with the US administration … Any scope of appeal or discussion must be properly solved to face any losses,” he said.
