The state government suspended ANOOP V., a higher teacher of secondary English in the capital, from a service waiting for an investigation.
Mr. ANOOP, a teacher on the government model Boys Higher High School, Attingal, was arrested by the Nagaroor Police after a complaint in connection with his comments against the former main minister of Vs Achuthanandan on social media. The case was also registered against him, said a government order issued on Tuesday.
The headmaster of the Attingal School complained that the teacher would not cooperate with the academic and other activities of the school and created obstacles in its smooth functioning.
The General Education Directorate also received a complaint that Mr. YESOP had taken money from other higher secondary teachers who promise to bring them transfers. He also called for anti -government measures on WhatsApp groups, the complaint claimed.
The regional deputy director Thiruvananthapuram, who conducted a preliminary investigation of complaints, said that the complaints had included and recommended measures against him.
