
The President of the Congress Committee of Keral Pradesh Sunny Joseph accused the state government of neglecting the situation of victims of landslides in Vilangad in Kozhikode a year after the incident.
After visiting Tuesday, he said that only 30 people affected were given a small amount as compensation, although 150 families were affected by a disaster that occurred on July 30, 2024. Shafi Paramtil, Vadakar, had to come on his own to build houses for those people.
On the landslide of the land Mundakkai-chooralmal, Mr. Joseph said that the government was not able to provide the right response in the legislative assembly on the question of Kalpetta MLA T. Mr. Joseph visited the newly built house of Ka Mathew, who lost his life in Vilangad Lonslip. He was accompanied by K. Poeenkumar, the president of the district congress and other leaders.
