
Easemythrip sponsor pulled out of the Indian-Pakistan semifinal clash at the World Championship in Legends 2025, just hours after the Indian team crawled at the semifinals with a lone victory in the tournament.
On Wednesday morning, the founder Easemytrip Nishant Pitti released a big message on X, which publicly states that they will not support the clash of India Vs Pakistan in Legends League. Pitti congratulated the Indian team led by Yuvraj Singh to achieve the semi -final of the tournament, but said that as an organization they believe that “terror and cricket cannot go hand in hand”.
“We are applauding the India @india_champions team for their excellent performance at the World Championship in the legends, you have made a nation proud. The upcoming semifinal against Pakistan is not just another game. Terror and cricket cannot go hand in hand.
At the beginning of the India tournament, its group stage struggle against Pakistan after several players pulled out of the collision. Shikhar Dhawan and Harbhajan Singh were prominent characters that started this boycotting.
Dhawan shared a picture of the previous mail with the WCL authorities, stating that he would not participate in matches against Pakistan due to the ongoing geopolitical tension between countries.

India beat West Indies to reach the semis
India crawled into the semi -final of the tournament by chasing 145 runs against West India in their final group stage of the tournament. This was the first victory of Yuvraj Singha this season. India needed to chase the goal set by Chris Gayla at 14.1 overs.
