Police Kanakapura launched fire on Monday and arrested a 45 -year -old construction worker who allegedly participated in the murder of a former Gram Panchayat member, while on Saturday evening for dinner in Dhaba, Sathanur.
The accused Srinivasa, the resident of Hongan Doddi, had a property dispute with a neighbor and the duo filed a complaint and complaint to the police. However, the deceased Nanjesh allegedly supported, the police said.
Srinivas enraged, allegedly put on his four collaborators and attacked Nanjesh when he was in Dhaba dinner and attacked him to death.
Based on CCTV shots, the police identified the accused and traced the Srinivas in the house in the village of Gabbadi, where he was hiding.
The police team arrived in the area on the basis of trusted information and warned Srinivas to give up and try to arrest it. In an effort to escape Srinivas, he reportedly attacked Constable Ramesh, after the inspector of Ananthram warned Srinivas and launched fire to prevent him from escaping. The police also arrested four other accused and took them into custody for further investigation.
Both injuries were moved to the hospital and is reportedly out of danger.
