The district collector of the district Annamayya Sridhar Chamakuri sanctioned the means for the Para-Atlete H. Shivani to get a prosthetic hand after dismissing. Shivani, a secondary student representing Jawahar Vidyalaya in Madanapalle, was born without his right arm.
In recent months, she has wrapped several gold medals in events with shots and spears in Bangkok, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, except that she showed her strength at National Para-Athletics. As a recognition of her excellent talent and perseverance, the collector accepted its dismissal by sanctioning 21,000 GBP, among the other 39,000 GBP from the District Rehabilitation Center for the rehabilitation of the District Disability (DDRC) and Darshini’s handicapped social society.
The prosthetic limb was facilitated under the supervision of the Ministry of various transgends and seniors. The initiative was based on “Praja Samasya Parishkar Radik” (PGRS) on Monday on Monday.
Mr. Chamakuri said that the government would always be at the forefront to support and seize talented students like Shivani. He congratulated her and wished her good luck in academic and sports.
Shivani noted that support for extended collectors would make a long way to balance her studies and athletic career.
