The villagers of Rajaghatta, especially women, raised concerns about what they called an uncontrollable liqueur sale, and claimed to destroy families by pushing their spouses into dependence and unemployment. They were looking for police assistance in detaining the threat.
This problem was triggered during the SC/WE meeting organized on Sunday by the district police Bengaluru along with the police “Manege” (police service from door to door).
Lakshmamma, one of the villagers who spoke on behalf of other women in the locality, said TA Baba police guards that they were open to alcohol stores at 6 am and work until or behind. “This represents the threat to families because men get drunk early in the morning and do not go to work. Most families face a difficult situation due to alcohol threat and pushes them into the penis. Even food and vegetable shops began to supply liqueur, which made them accessible around hours,” she said.
Mr. Baba convened consumer department officials to ensure that alcohol stores should observe the time specified in the license. The Ministry and the Jurisdictory Police were also asked to check the unlawful liqueur sales in shops.
Meanwhile, several students present at the meeting complained that they were humiliated in schools because they were ridiculed from their castes with their friends and classmates. “We were ridiculed and called the denominators of the caste.
Mr. Baba asked and asked Mr. Baba and officials of the Ministry of Education present at the meeting to immediately take immediate action and ensure that these practices did not repeat.
The police later visited the Dalit Colony and the stickers containing names and the number of police officers to contact any eventuality with the intention of instilling confidence between the general public that the police are in their service. Mr. Baba, along with other officials, also had lunch with villagers.
The villagers were invited to help the police forces to fight crime and maintain law and order.
