England Captain Ben Stokes called on the idea of exchanging injuries in the test cricket. Stokes responded at a press conference after the match to the question of whether someone like Rishabh Pant should replace injury. He was versatile against this idea and said the teams would find gaps in the law to get fresh players whenever there was a slight injury.
In the test match in Manchester Rishabh Pant, he broke his right tip while he detonated the 1st day of the game. Pant was injured in retirement 1. Day, but was forced to go out on the bat on the 2nd day of the game due to the uncertain position of India.
The hinge received a replacement for his duties. Dhruv Jurel kept his goals in his absence, just as he did in the Mr’s test match. However, the Indian team was basically left with one smaller dough in the second inning of the match.
The Indian team reported that pants, although they are on crutches, came to the bat if necessary. Fans questioned the laws of the game and asked how a player could a bat or a field with a broken finger?
Chief coach of India Gautam Gambhir supported the argument and detonated in favor of injury compensation.
“Yes – if there is an external injury or serious concern, I fully support the replacement. Especially in such a series, if someone is visibly injured, there is nothing wrong to change. In a long series like this, you cannot be forced to play with only ten players,” Gambhir said.
Stokes, however, was not a fan and called on the proposal. Stokes said that this rule will eventually have too many gaps and would eventually use teams across the album.
“I think it is absolutely ridiculous that there is an interview around the injury,” Stokes said. “I think there would be too many gaps for teams that could go through.
“If you hold someone else with MRI scanner, the pitch will show,“ Oh yeah, you have a little inflammation around your knees.
Fortunately, India did not need Rishabh Pant in the last shifts. Excellent hundreds of Shaubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja helped India to draw a test match after fighting for 143 overs.
India is now traveling to London, where the last test of the 31 series begins.
