
All Keral Brahmins (Akba) called on the government to increase the income limit for systems carried out by Kerala State Welfare Corporation for forward communities to £ 8.
Akba OfficeBearers laid their request before the government on behalf of the General Education Minister V. Sivankutta during the 55th Akba District Conference, which took place here on Sunday. The Association also called on the government to introduce a linguistic reservation of minorities for youth, which comes from the Tamil Brahmin community in university and government employment.
Mr. Sivankutty started the district conference. He was chaired by the District President Aking Thiruvananthapuram TS Mani. Among the present was the councilor Fort Ward S. Janaki Ammal, State President Akba H. Ganesh, Secretary General M. Sankaranyanan.
The conference also elected TS Mani as the President of the district and R. Suesh as the Secretary of the period 2025-27. V. Satyavageesware and S. Kasturirangan were elected as vice -chairmen.
