Kargil Vijay Divas in Dharwad On Saturday, the heroes of the Kargil War were paid by a rich honor.
North Karnataka Sainik Welfare Association, NCC volunteers, scouts and guides and students of various schools and universities, joined to pay honors to martyrs.
The mayor of Hubball-Dharwad Jyoti Patil laid a wreath at the Kargil Memorial, located in front of the Dharwad Commissioner’s deputy.
The program was also attended by cadets, scouts and NCC guides, and watched two minutes of silence to pay tribute to martyrs.
Up to 533 Indian soldiers lost their lives during the war in Kargil and were 13 of Karnataka.
Mayor Jyotota Patil said it is a limited duty to respect each citizen and remember the victim of brave soldiers. These programs should motivate the younger generation to be ready to serve their homeland, she said.
Previously, the participants from Gandhi Chowk were to the Kargil Memorial, in which they took part in the tricolor who took part in Tricolor and earned the magic of rain.
At Kargil Vijay Divas, students from different schools and universities, members of various organizations and political parties were honored by martyrs by eliminating the assembly holding signs, praising their victim.
Also in Hubball, rich honors were paid by war heroes by various organizations and schools and universities.
