
Andr Pradesh has issued a final and time -bound opportunity to regulate unapproved layouts and land throughout the state, according to the amended system of regularization of layout (LRS).
In this sense, the government issued Mrs. No. 134. As far as Go, only these unapproved layouts and partial land resolution with a registered sales deed/title as a plot before 30 June 2025 can submit their applications within 90 days of the announcement, ie July 26.
According to release from the Ministry of the Municipal Administration and City Development, the decision is governed by the persistent representations of citizens, real estate bodies, architects and planning experts who emphasized the challenges faced as a result of waiting or sloppy applications. It is estimated that more than 14,000 unauthorized layouts of almost 78,000 acres have been identified, many of which remain out of the planning framework.
Through these changes, the Government focuses on this layout to state the legal compliance, prevent further income leakage, and allow structured provision of civil services.
The amended rules explain that only those land with registered sales lists carried out on June 30, 2025 will be eligible for regularization. The conspiracy owners must act within 90 days of the announcement date to take advantage of this one -time opportunity. Incomplete or waiting requests from the former LRS-2020 phase will also be processed, provided that applicants provide the required documents or clear fees under the updated provisions. Applications will be approved or rejected within six months of dispatch.
The department also confirmed that all waiting applications in the previous rounds will now be started and destroyed immediately. In addition, new applications can be submitted from 1 August via the official portal at https://dtcp.ap.gov.in/lrs/
The development of infrastructure
According to the release, the government has allocated all funds collected within the LRS to be used exclusively for the development of infrastructure in the relevant city local bodies. These yields will be improved roads, water pipes, drains, street lighting and civic equipment in these locations.
