AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal called Stamiwal on Sunday (July 27, 2025) in Haridware’s Mansa Devi temple about a system failure rather than an accident, and demanded that the liability be determined.
StamPede, who broke out in the Haridware temple of Mansa Devi on Sunday (July 27, 2025), killed at least six people and left many injured, the police said. The legends of the electricity, where the stairs to the temple started, sent devoted to panic, leading to StamPede, Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Singra Sing Dobal said PTI.
In a post in Hindi on X, Mr. Kejriwal said, “The heart-rare incident of mortality at the Mansa Devi temple in the Haridwar Holy Town.
He added that such “terrible” incidents in religious places reveal negligence in the management.
“It is not only an accident, but a system failure and responsibility should be determined,” the National Congressor AAP said in his post.
Manish Sisodia, head of Aadmi Aadmi (AAP), said the incident was “very tragic”.
“A few devotees have lost their lives and many others were injured in the incident. I pray to God to grant peace to the leaving souls, the power of their families to make this grief and a speedy recovery to all injured,” he said in Hindi on the X.
