A group of employees and priests at Sri Balaji Mandir TTD at the Gol Market in Nový Delhi allegedly tried to install the idol “Naga” in the temple complex without ensuring permission from the relevant authorities and without the subsequent appropriate religious rituals
According to the sources, the idol was brought from an unverified source in Visakhapatnam, to which a special “border” was carried out before initiation. However, the installation was against another group of employees who dropped the lid of the matter and warned TTD.
The authorities have now followed the whole episode to a special officer K. Rama Rau, under whose alleged leadership a team of priests and employees resorted to “unofficial initiation”, sources said.
The investigation of the Ministry of Vigilance TTD also includes charges of corruption and incorrect conduct dealing against some employees in the New Delhi Church, which was founded by TTD on the land of 1,17 Acro in Udyan Marg for the price of 11.5 crore.
