The fundamental rights in democratic society – freedom of expression and debate – which lacked the Osmania of the University for decades, was restored in December 2023 with a congress, which was reported on Saturday by the Deputy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark.
The government doors were opened to all people’s views and fear to express their opinion, disappeared, remembered his interactions with women, students and diverse groups in the Adilabad-Khammam march.
For Mr. Vikramark, universities should support ideological diversity – from Marxism to Maoism to Gandhianism – because this is what represents a real university, said, claiming that coercion, pressure or suppression is not part of the state government policy.
“Maybe I will not agree with what you are saying, but I will defend your right to say it,” he quoted the French writer and philosopher Voltaire to add his idea.
According to Mr. Vikramark, who spoke at the annual celebrations of the University College of Arts & Social Sciences, Osmania University, the government focuses on radical changes in the educational sector.
He said that the journey began with the appointment of Vice -President Chancellors, recruitment of the faculty, increasing catering fees and cosmetic fees in state residential schools, the scheme of a common catering menu recommended by top doctors and nutritionists and assigning 500 GBP Crore for Koti Women’s College.
Another thing in the pipeline is building skills. Creating the first University of Telangana in Future City with 100 industrial training institutes (ITI) transforms as advanced technology centers and young Indian residential schools in each election district with an expenditure of 200 Crore.
He claimed that real development in the state is possible only through education, and especially English secondary education to withstand global competition. Finding out of a comprehensive socio-economic, political, educational and caste survey conducted in the State also stated that education is more important to development than land, which is the basic source of development.
Mr. Vikramarka was a praise for the heritage of Osmania University, which produced former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, and many bureaucrats, scientists and politicians for and outside the telangan.
He accepted the vice -chairman of Kumar Molugaram and the director of C. Kaseem a request for an open auditorium at the university and promised to recommend it to the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He also assured that more employment announcements would be published soon.
