Morcha BJP organized a program of raising awareness of the census on Saturday, where the Mysur Member Yadveer Krishhnadatt Chamaraja Wadiyar strongly supported the initiative of the center and criticized the previous efforts of the Karnatak government.
At the event, Mr. Yadveer emphasized the need for increased awareness of the caste census and repeated that the central government has constitutional authority to perform such exercises.
“Many countries, including Karnataka, said they would do a caste census, but what they really do is socio -economic and educational survey, and even Congress did not do it scientifically,” he added.
He said that the caste census is essential for framing policies focused on targeted development of various communities and the center has already begun the process of implementing the caste census.
“We all welcome this initiative. Whenever the Prime Minister announces the program, ensures that people will achieve benefits. I am full of certainty that the center, under Modi, will also deliver the caste census,” Mr. Yadveer said.
He referred to the socio-economic and educational survey conducted by Congress in the State and stated that his treatment indicated that the state lacks competence and expertise on performing such exercise.
Congress’s efforts in the state have spread for decades and it was a drama, said Mr. Yadveer, challenging the competences and political will of the congress while completing the exercise.
“More than 165 GBP Crore was missed, and Congress’s leaders told Karnataka on Wednesday to abandon the exercise of the India Congress Committee, who are not even elected representatives, rejected it directly and ordered the state leadership to follow the telangana,” Mr. Yadveer said.
Yadveer describes the caste census as a long -waiting “inheritance” and said that only the current central leadership has political will to solve and implement it. He also urged the state government to abandon his exercise and stated that there was no need to duplicate the center of the center.
President of BJP National Obc Morcha K. Lakshman, who is also a member of Rajya Sabha, was questioned by the leader of the congress Rahul Gandhi over his commitment to the community of the municipalities. He quoted historical events to claim that the congress disappointed the municipalities. ” Although the three members of the Nezru-Gandhi family became the prime minister of the country, none of them supported the cause of the Civil Affairs, “said Mr. Lakshman. He said that the first National Commission for the City led by Kaka Kalekar submitted a comprehensive report, but Congress rejected it.
” He was the Vice President of Singh, who implemented the Mandal Commission message with the support of BJP, while the then opposition leader Rajiv Gandhi spoke in parliament for more 90 minutes and stood against her, ”said Mr. Lakshman.
The leader of the BJP of Morcha Rahga Kautilya, MLC Ahvishwanath, MLA TS Srivatsa and others were present.
