(Getty Images) Former English captain Nasser Hussain sharply criticized Indian tactical decisions on the 3rd Fourth Test in Old Trafford, in particular the delay of Shubman Gill to bring Washington Sundar to the attack.India introduced Sundar only in 69th place, while England sailed at 305/2. Despite the first session without a goal, Sundar quickly hit Lunch after lunch and removed Ollie Pope to 71 and then Harry Brook Pro 3, offered India to look at a warrior on a day dominated by hosts.

You could say that he was full of confidence as boldly talking about winning the Lord after taking four goals, and I did not see such a beautiful drift in England.”

Should Washington Sundar be introduced earlier in attack?
Hussain referred to Sundar’s 4/22 in the second shift at Lord and stressed that it was supposed to be used much earlier: “Bowling Washington Sundar was completely overlooked… They did not turn to him up to 69 years when England was 305 for two.Hussain also questioned the Indian bowling approach to Joe Root, scored by the majestic 150 to help England achieve 544/7 on the stump, with the commanding leadership of 186-Run.“The way India bowed to Joe Root was also incomprehensible. The fastest, fastest playground in the country historically received only two jumps until lunch on the third day.”He noted that root is now capturing the ball by 27 centimeters closer to the pitch than in 2018, and India should focus on it with short balls and force it to the hind leg. With Root now in the second place in the list of test centers of all time, for only Sachin Tendulkar and England firmly under control, Indian decisions-especially Gill’s Sundar Svub-with under growing control.
