The use of a general transit feed (GTFS), which has now become a global standard for public transport, has transformed as people go through urban transit systems, said Raghu Krishnapuram, head of scientist at the Indian Science Institute (IISC) and co -founder of India.
Krishnapuram said: “Open and interoperable data layers are converted by buses, metro and authoricksha into one trouble -free chart when they talked about the frequency of Namma Transit Feature on Friday. Experience from applications by combining metro, car and cabin services, which allows smoother multimodal travel in Bengalur.
Within the #enroute Innovation Challenge supported World Resources Institute, India, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India and Vilgro, Namma Yatri has developed this new function. Bengalur has now joined the selected group of cities using the IUDX platform to publish GTFS data sources from BMTC and BMRCL.
The Namma Transit, which is currently available to a selected group of users and sets a wider introduction in the coming week, provides real -time path planning across different ways of transport. “The application offers live viewing, platform details and timely challenges to change the regime or end at the right stop,” said Shan MS, co -founder Namma Yatri.
Banning a retirement for a shared car, CABS: Tejasvi Surya
The event was presented by a MP for Bengaluru South Tejasvi Surya Plan Mobility 2030, prepared by Namma Yatri, which sets ambitious goals, including 70% of the public transport share, half commuting and emissions and building a robust multimodal infrastructure through cooperation.
Mr. Surya said: “Bengalur needs a reserved shipping manifesto to deal with his unique traffic problems. Shared cars and cabins are an economic necessity, but unfortunately they are forbidden. We have to reconsider it.” He also advocated to allow private operators to operate buses in Bengalur to deal with a lack of BMTC. “The BMTC itself cannot handle the growing requirements for the transport of the city. Bus operators must be part of the solution,” he said.
