The robbers decorated 60 monarchs of gold jewelry, silver objects and RS 1.5 lakh cash from the house of leather tannery in the village of Musiri near the town of Walaiah in Ranipet on Friday.
The police said the victim of K. Elotovan (33) is working in a manufacturing company in tires in SriPerumbudur. He lived with his wife, two children and parents in a one -way house in the village.
The initial investigation revealed that Elotovan returned home around 2 hours from work. He went to the first floor of the house where his family members and parents slept. Sometime later, Elagovan’s father, he stood up and descended to the ground floor of the house when he saw three people escape from the house.
When Kasi lifted the alarm, other family members and neighbors rushed. They found cup plates on the ground floor of the house broken and excluded valuables. Immediately the inhabitants pointed out the police of the caveripakkam, who came to the place with cut off dogs. A case was registered. Special teams were created to charge suspicious. The police also analyze CCTV footage on the route. The probe is running.
