Wellness startup Biopeak based in Bengalur has recently acquired in financing led by Prashantho Prakash, founding partner of Accel Partners, who also recorded participation from Ranjan PAI in his investment vehicle Claypond and Nithin Kamath and Nithin Kamath. In this exclusive interview, Prakash speaks of longevity as a concept and its importance in the future. Excerpts:
Hi Prasanth, what was the thought process of this investment decision?
The timing of this investment is deeply intentional. We are at a unique intersection in human health, where diagnostics, artificial intelligence and science of longevity converge at an extraordinary speed. The biofeak builds an integrated, accurate healthcare system based on global science, but adapted to the unique biological, environmental and lifestyle of the Indian population. It is not just a commercial bet-it is the belief that India will lead the world in a new generation healthcare.

The thought process was simple: medicine is moving from reactive to predictive and preventive and biofeak is one of the several platform architectors that will be a scalp, scientifically anchored. This will allow us to draw unprecedented details of personalized health trajectories for a particular individual using multidimensional collection, integration and data prediction.
The focus on deeply personalized health care will be huge in the future. Right?
The transition from universal diameters to personalized knowledge will be a revolution of how we detect, predict, present side effects and create resistance reserves. This new model of biology and medicine led by A.
What is your definition of longevity?
Longevity for us is not only about prolonging life, but about expanding health. Ensuring for more years, which are healthier, is important, more important. In the Indian context, this requires a unique balance: respect for traditional knowledge systems, alignment with evolving regulators, and deeply relying on evidence -based science.
We combine top diagnostics-microbioma and metabolomics after displaying and functional genomic-S culturally compatible interventions and powerful AI layer.
Longevity for us in India means democratizing the approach to health optimization – life between human intelligence and the accuracy of the machine, rooted in science, ethics and scale.
In ancient civilizations, including India, people have lived for a much longer time. How does it relate to the work biopeak and the results that it hopes to achieve?
While environmental and social contexts have changed drastically, ancient systems often emphasized the inner balance, rhythm with nature and preventive health – all these are the main principles in today’s longevity science.
We are not romantizing the past in the biofeak – we are modeling it. Using symbolic and generative frames AI, we integrate the timeless health principles with modern biological data to predict individual reactions to drugs, nutraceutics and interventions in lifestyle. It is not a replication of ancient lifetime – it is a regeneration of biological potential by harmonizing past wisdom with today’s exact tools.
Do you think that longevity as a concept can be realistic to all parts of society? Or will it just remain a desire for a well heel?
Longyevity must not become a luxury. With AI at the core of the Biopeak platform, we can quickly model and scalance health solutions based on higher reasons for the wider needs of the population. What starts with a few can be democratized for many through intelligent design, effective diagnostics and continuous learning from different cohorts.
India has the potential to be a global laboratory for scalable solutions to longevity – not by dilution of science, but by deploying cultural and economic sensitivity.
Through our own longitudinal data using interdisciplinary cooperation (longevity of India, the initiative of the Indian Scientific Institute), we strive to identify the organization of organ disorders before pathological settings to implement the health management program that will prolong health and improve the quality of life for aging population.
I believe that in the core of the bio -pendle offer is a diagnostic system that includes tests such as organic acid profiling, microbioma mapping, cortisol rhythms and all -explorative genomics. These are paired with imaging tools such as MRI, CT and ECHO, as well as tissue screening that examines markers such as mineral levels, toxin load and oxidative stress. Does the biopeak do a unique company in the world?
Yes, biofeak is unique both in its scientific architecture and in the focus of the population. It combines multiple diagnostic modalities with high-resolution-molecular, functional and structural-to uniform health platforms. Each individual is paired with a biologist and a doctor and is held in a dynamic health plan.
What further distinguishes is its design focused on South Asia, which considers the genetic, diet, cultural and environmental nuances of this area. Biopeak, supported by institutions such as IISC and informed by global proven procedures, is not just another health company-it is a systemic re-evaluation of what can be human health in the 21st century.
What is medicine 4.0? What does it look like to solve? What are his basic principles?
Medicine 4.0 is a natural development of health care AI and high -resolution biology. It is defined by its longitudinal view of health, multi -system diagnostics, real -time feedback and personalized intervention frameworks. It is not a treatment of symptoms – it is a constant adaptation of the evolving biology of the individual.
This approach integrates international technologies, uses large data with small, accurate knowledge and focuses on results over time rather than episodic care. In short, it is predictive, participating, personalized and preventive.
What do you think are the key pillars of the Medicine 4.0 frame when it comes to a bio -sapage?
Biopeak uses data from modern genomics, metabolomics, lipidomics and metagenomics analysis to provide a molecular view of the unique individual biology. This integration identifies the system balance to identify fine imbalances and hidden dysfunctions long before the symptoms occur.
From the scanning of DXA for bone density to functional MRI and metabolic imaging in real time uses bio -peak tools that visualize internal systems and structural health markers. Using the AI AI hybrid approach combining symbolic AI (for precise interpretations based on rules) and generative AI (to recognize patterns and predictive modeling), biofeen can detect comprehensive biological relationships and generate personalized health knowledge.
What do you think they are limited to contemporary health systems around the world and in India?
Globally and in India, medical systems remain largely reactive, fragmented and oriented to acute interventions rather than for long -term prevention. There is a great focus on disease management rather than predicting and reversing the conditions that lead to it. There is a lack of systems – integrating diagnostics, therapy and lifestyle in cohesive, continuously updating framework. People are considered a condition, not dynamic ecosystems. The long -term biological consequences of current options are rarely taken into care.
The basis of medicine 2.0 was built on the diameters of the population with protocols and interventions developed on the basis of data from large observational and intervention studies. Although this approach has helped standardize treatment, it does not take into account individual variability. The genetic framework, metabolism, lifestyle and interaction of each person’s environment is unique, so n = 1 (individual) model necessary for real health optimization. The biopeak solves exactly this: the unification of the fragmented landscape into an intelligent, longitudinal system concentrated around the individual.
