Alappuzha, a home district of the former Chief Minister and leader CPI (M) vs Achuthanandan, will offer him Adieu on Wednesday. Cortege is expected to enter the district late on Tuesday evening or in the early hours of Wednesday.
The funeral of Achuthanandan will take place with a full state honor in the memorial of the Punna-Vayalar Martyrs in Valiya Chudukkad at 15:00 will be resting near the final rest of the legendary communist characters, including P. Krishn Pillai, TV Thomas, N. Sreedharan, PK Chandrananan.
The body will be left in its residence until 9:00, before it is transported to the CPI (M) District Committee. It will then be transported to recreational ground around 11:00, where it will be stored for public viewing by 15:00
On Wednesday morning, the funeral procession will pass several points, including Pazhaya Nadakkava, Kaithavan and Pazhaveed, before it gets to the District Committee of CPI (M).
On Tuesday, the day after his death, hundreds continued to interfere with the Great, the house of Achuthanandan to give up respect.
On Wednesday, the Alappuzha District Administration announced a holiday for all government authorities and schools, including professional universities.
