
Vice -President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 74, resigned from his post, who quoted health reasons on Monday (21 July 2025).
“To give priority to health care and observe the medical council, I hereby resign as the vice president of India, effective immediately, in accordance with Article 67 (a) the Constitution,” said the resignation letter addressed to President Murmu, who was published on the official account of Vice President X, said.
