
Bangladeshy cricket wears black bracelets during the second T20i against Pakistan on Tuesday 22nd July at the National Stadium Sher-E-Bangla (SBNSC) in Mirpur. In memory of the victims of Monday’s tragic aircraft in Milestone School and College in the Uttar area in Dhace.
At least 20 people were killed and 171 others injured When the Chinese training beam F-7 from the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into the school building during the class hours. Players and matches will wear black bracelets as a sign of respect, connecting to fans in describing the lives lost in a devastating accident.
Previously, after the accident, the Bangladesh cricket council (BCB) issued a statement that the incident mourned and expressed deep condolences to the families of victims.
“The Bangladeshi cricket council expresses deep sadness over the tragic air crash on Milestone School & College in Dhace. We stand in solidarity with mourning families and all affected.
Bangladesh won the first T20i seven goals on Sunday, when Parvez Hossain Emon won the match player for his undefeated 56-Runa knocking. Previously, Taskin Ahmed raised three goals when Tigers bowed Pakistan at 109 at 19.3 overs.
