In the main breakthrough in a robbery reported from the gold shop in a heavily populated area of Saraf Bazaar 10 days ago, the police arrested three members of the interstate gang and won 2.865 kg of 2.10 Crore gold and 4.80 GBP in cash.
Men are arrested by Farooq Ahmad Malik, Ayodhya Prasad Chavan and Sohail Shaikh.
Farooq Malik is a native of Dadpur in the Hooghly district in West Bengal. In the last few years he lived in Kalaburagi and worked as a goldsmith. Before he moved to Karnataka, he worked in the showroom of jewelry in Dubai and specialized in design Turkish jewelry.
The accusation of Ayodhya Prasad Chavan comes from the village of Kansona in the north 24 Paragans District of West Bengal. He has been in a clothing store in Mumbai for the last 15 years. It has a record of 17 robbery cases.
The defendant Sohail Shaikh is a tailor from the chawl floor in Mumbai. It is also sought in two cases of robbery.
Police Commissioner SharanAppa S. Dhage, who addressed Prespersons on Monday, shared the details of the accused and how they committed robbery.
Farooq, who suffered a loss of business, hatched a conspiracy with Ayodhya Prasad and invited him to be part of the robbery. Furthermore, Ayodhya Prasad involved his accomplice Sohail Shaikh in a crime and traveled all the way from Bombai to Kalaburagagi to join Farooq, robbery.
During the interrogation, it was revealed that the accused hatched a plan 25 days before the crime that was put into the movement of 11 July at 12:15, when a group of masked and armed individuals controlled the toy and plunged into the gold workshop and eliminated gold jewelry.
Dr. Dhage said five teams were created to arrest the accused. These teams have visited several districts in Mahari, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal in the last 10 days.
Two of the accused were arrested from the West Bengal and the third of the bombai, while two other charges are escapes, he said.
However, he refused to reveal how the police acquired the initial leadership that helped them achieve the accused.
The owner of Malik Jewelers, where the robbery became, Sibghatullah Malik comes from the village of Prasadpur in the Hooghly district in West Bengal.
Interestingly, the victim and the main accused are in Goldsmith’s business and come from the Hooghly district in West Bengal.
When he answered the question, Dr. Dhage said that the victim initially spoke of the fact that she was robbed of 2 kg per 3 kg of gold, but in the complaint he mentioned that only 850 grams of gold were lost in the robbery.
Perhaps he is holding the non -participated gold. The police ask him about this matter, the officer added.
