The Pakistani police arrested 11 people after the video of the couple was shot by a group of men in balchistan viral on social media. The video shows that men lead a couple of vehicles and into the desert before shooting them with guns and shooting their bodies.
According to a PTI report, political personality and activities have described the newlywed murder of the couple as “the killing of honor”, and the incident caused outrage in the country.
Balochistan Main Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed on Monday that 11 people were arrested. They are suspicious of being “killed” by a couple, she added.
What shows the video
The graphic video shows about a dozen men surrounding several vehicles in the desert. A woman, with her head wrapped in a scarf, shows how she walks in front of the vehicles when a man followed by a group followed.

FIR Filed on video surface
The first information report (FIR) was registered by the Naveed Akhtar clerk at the Hanna-Rak police station in Quetta, The Dawn newspaper reported.
Akhtar said he filed a complaint after receiving a video clip that was viral on social media. He also stated that in the investigation his team found that the incident occurred three days before Eid-lim Azha.

“The victims seen in a viral video were identified as Bano Bibi and Ihsanullah,” he said, named eight suspects who reportedly shot a few dead. The company also mentioned 15 other unknown suspects involved in the incident.
“Given the nature of the murder, this case has now been transferred to the wing of serious crime for further investigation,” Akhtara said.
The leader of the tribe declared it a “immoral relationship”
Before killing, the victims were reportedly transported to a tribal leader who declared them guilty of engaging in an “immoral relationship” and ordering their execution, after which they were taken to the desert and shot dead, said the company.
“The murder was filmed and recorded on social media to spread fear and panic among the public,” he added.
The men in the video were heard by Brahui, spoken in many parts of Balochistan.
The chairman of the Pakistani Party Peoples (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called suspicious “animals”, saying that it does not deserve any concessions.
Baloch’s activist Sammi Deen Balk has condemned the shooting as a killing “honor” and attracted for the older Baloch to “respect female decisions”.
“As a woman, this cool incident is deeply painful and heartbreaking to me,” she wrote on X. “The killing of any woman in the name of honor is not only a nasty crime, but also the worst humiliation of humanity.”
