“Today, July 16, from 193.6 million rural households in the country, is mentioned more than 156.7 crore (80.93%) of households in their homes,” said Minister Jal Shakti V. Somann in the written response of Rajya Sabha.
Since August 2019, the Center, in cooperation with States, has been implementing the Jal Jeevan (JM) Mission: Har Ghar Jal to allow every country household to provide drinking water through connection to water water.
