Andhra Pradesh Minister of Interior Vangalapudi Anith on Monday (July 21) claimed that the arrest of Rajamplet MP PV Midhun Reddy was based on “specific evidence” associated with alleged fraud in liqueur. In this case, she refuted the accusation of “political oppression” and wanted the leaders of the YSR congress to join the courts if they had any objections.
The Minister, who addressed a press conference in Madakasira in the Sri Satya Sai district, said the NDA government in the state was against illegal arrest. “Our government is acting only after the assembly of substantial evidence. Even the courts do not even provide in custody unless Prima facie material is placed before them,” said Mrs. Anitha.
The Minister of the Interior rejected YSRCP that the fire incident in the office of the Madanapalle holder last year was buried for evidence. She explained that the investigation was still active. “This is not a closed case. All facts will be shown in the coming days,” she said.
In a strongly created statement, Mrs. Anith called President Ysrp and former main Minister Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy “criminal in the clothing of politics”. She said the YSRCP regime derailed the growth of the state during its possession.
