The Secretary General of the Congress of YSR and the former Rayachoti Mla, Gadikot Sreekant Reddy, condemned the arrest of Rajamplet by MP P. Midhun Reddy and described him as “illegal”.
On Sunday he spoke in the program “Babu Sureta – Guarant” in Chinnamem and Sambapalli Mandals in the district of Annamayya. The aim of the event was to reveal the “fraudulent promises” of the coalition government led by the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida. The leaders of the Ramesh Kumar Reddy and Balasubramanyam leaders were also present.
Sricant Reddy, who dealt with the Assembly, accused Mr. Naida of persecuted “vengeful policy” and encouraged trade in rural areas to benefit the Telugu Desam’s cadres. He said, “It was Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy when he was in power, raised alcohol prices and reduced the number of shops to reduce drinking.”
He claimed that during the YSRCP regime, all sections of the company, including – students, women, farmers, unemployed youth and seniors – have used in a large way from many programs and development initiatives.
The leaders of YSRCP repeated that they would not expose until Mr. Naida’s promises were revealed. They said that TDP promises on free buses for women, unemployment allowance and financial assistance would not happen.
