A line over a three -bloc -block policy
16th April and 17th June 2025 The Mahashtra government issued a resolution established three -plow policy at primary schools. These decisions have joined two long-term political rivals-Kousiny UDDHAV Thackery and Raj Thackeray-Kří joined in opposition to the inclusion of Hindi as a third language in schools. While their alliance is rooted in regional language fears, a wider problem reflects a long -term debate on the adoption of Hindi as a national language.
According to the petitioner, since Hindi is widely spoken in many regions and is relatively easy to learn, supporters claim that it is a natural candidate to serve as an Indian national language. “However, it is daunting to note that even after 78 years of independence, Hindi must be officially recognized as such. Therefore, the petitioner urges the Indian government to take the necessary steps to declare Hindi for national language in the interest of national unity,” said Uphyay.
The petition claims that Mr. Raj Thackey, in an effort to acquire political land from the upcoming local election elections – especially in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, one of the richest civic authorities in the country, tried to use the controversy surrounding the introduction of the Hind language in Maharashtra.
He claims to have given a number of provocative manifestations focused on Hindi -speaking migrants from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan who settled in cities such as Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Pune. The petition accuses Mr. Thackery of actively supporting hostility among communities based on the place of birth, stay and language – negotiations that not only disrupt social harmony, but also endanger the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the nation.
“The threat of violence”
“Mr. Thackey’s speeches have stimulated public unrest and changed what began as opposition to Hindi in the violent placement of Marathi on Non-Marathi spokespersons in Mahari. It states that it is recognized.
He further claimed that Mr. Thackey appointed the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah in his speech and distorted his attitude to language and employment. The petition accuses Mr. Thackey for the encouragement of his party workers to attack and intimidate Hindi -speaking migrants, involved in the incidents of violence in the crowd, vandalism of shops and targeted attacks in cities such as Bombai, Thane, Pune and Raigad. Mr. UpipPyay said, “One such cited case includes a Rajasthan entrepreneur who was supposedly beaten in Mira-Bhayander for not talking Marathi-Incident, which caused the extended protests of the local business community.” “” “” “” Is accused of public warning that such incidents were “only trailers”, which threatens further violence if the use of Hindi is not limited in the Mahari.
The petition claims that in recent months, at the command of Mr. Thackery, MNS staff have begun to check offices and business equipment to check that the operations were performed in Marathi. In one case, they reportedly attacked the bank and attacked employees that he had not spoken to Marathi. Similar incidents reportedly included guardians and delivered Zomato worker.
“Politically motivated”
The petition also claimed that the so-called “Marathi Pride” Mr. Thackeryy is politically motivated to consolidate votes before the elections in the Mummy’s Municipal Company-Who is at stake a massive budget of Crore 74 427 GBP. He accuses the chief of MNS and his supporters of systematic targeting, intimidating and humiliating Hindi -speaking migrants.
“Despite the formal complaint of 10 July 2025, addressed by the Prime Minister, the Minister of the Interior of the Union, the Maharashtra CM, the Indian Election Commission and the Police Authorities – issuing the registration of companies and even the abolition of MNS recognition – no steps were taken,” Mr. Upadhyay said.
