Kalaburagi ranks first in disposal of applications received in Atalji Janasnehi Kendras

Kalaburagi district once again secured the highest position in Karnataka in disposal of applications received through Atalji Janasnehi Kendras, achieving 97.94% disposal during May 2026.
According to official data released here on Wednesday, Kalaburagi disposed of 38,551 applications out of 39,363 received during the month within the stipulated time frame, making it the best performing district in the state in providing revenue related services to citizens.
Nadakacheri centers provide 43 finance department services and Kalaburagi has achieved the highest liquidation performance by ensuring timely processing of applications.
The district recorded a disposal index of 9.48, reflecting its efficiency in providing public services and administrative responsiveness.
This is the third time in less than a year that Kalaburagi has topped the state rankings. The district has previously secured first place in July and December 2025 as well, strengthening its reputation for efficient governance and prompt service delivery to citizens.
Deputy Commissioner Ikram Shariff attributed the success to the dedication and performance of Nadakacheri and Atalji Janasnehi Kendra staff.
He congratulated the officers and staff involved and urged them to maintain the same level of performance in the future while continuing to respond promptly to public complaints and service requests.
The national rankings also show the strong performance of districts in the Kalyana region of Karnataka.
While Kalaburagi has secured the top spot, Vijayanagara ranks third with a turnover index of 8.71, Ballari fourth with 8.29 and Raichur seventh with 6.52, indicating that four districts from the region are among the top 10 civil servants in public service delivery.
