About 73 Palestinians were killed in an attempt to access humanitarian aid in various places on Sunday in Gaza, the Associated Press press agency reported.
The maximum number of victims was reported from the northern Gaza, where at least 67 people were killed at the entrance to the region when entering the Zikim area with Israel, reporting that the Ministry of Health in Palestinian territory and local hospitals cited.
It is not yet clear whether they were killed by the Israeli army or armed gangs or both.
However, some witnesses claimed that the Israeli army had shot a crowd, the report said.
According to healthcare professionals, hundreds of people were killed by Israeli fire while trying to gain access to the Humanitarian Fund in Gaza or GHF, distribution sites supported by the US and Israel.
More than 150 people were also injured during the attacks, some of which were in critical condition.
Evacuation warning
Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced on Sunday a new evacuation warning of the central Gaza regions.
The announcement came in the middle of the interviews about the ceasefire of Israel in Qatar.
The evacuation reduces the approach between Deir Al-Balah and the southern cities of Rafah and Khan Youenis in a narrow enclave.
The United Nations has asked Israel to clarify whether the UN facility in the southwestern Deir al-Laah is included in the Sunday order of evacuation, said the AP report, which quoted an unnamed UN official.
The evacuation announcement covers an area that stretches from the previously evacuated area to the coast and seriously brakes movement for help and civilians in Gaza.
Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee warned that the army would attack “intensity” against militants. He called on the inhabitants, including those hiding in the tents to go to the Muwasi area, a deserted tent on the south coast of Gaza, that the Israeli army has determined the humanitarian zone.
At the beginning of this month, the Israeli army said it dominated more than 65% of the Gaza belt.
