
The final of the World Cup in England will remain in England until 2031 and confirmed the International Criket Council through a press release on Sunday, July 20. The event organized by the cricket council in England and Wales since its foundation will continue in the next three editions of the tournament.
ICC announced that the decision was taken with regard to the ECB record in the last three editions of the championship. The WTC finals were hosted in three places in England, namely Southampton (2021), The Oval (2023) and Lord’s cricket playground in 2025.
“The Council also confirmed the granting of hosting for the World Championship finals in the World Championship in 2027, 2029 and 2031 in England and Wales on the cricket council after a successful record in the recent finals,” she said.
India has previously announced today that the Indian cricket council was very interested in bringing the coastal event. However, it seems unlikely in the near future.

England hosts the final WTC by 2031
The ICC confirmed that the cricket council in England and Wales will continue to host the next three World Test Championships. The decision was based on the successful solution of the ECB event in previous editions and the logistics advantage of the English beginning of the summer window.
Continuing support for displaced female crickets
ICC will maintain its program for cooperation in support of women of crickets of Afghan origin that have been displaced. This initiative is carried out in cooperation with BCCi, ECB and Cricket Australia. It includes high -performance training, exposition of home games and involved in the upcoming ICC events such as the ODI World Cup in India and the World Cup 2026 T20 in England.
The US cricket said three months
ICC repeated its demand for proper administration from the American cricket. The Board of Directors was told to make free and fair elections within three months and to carry out structural reforms. ICC explained that if these conditions are not met, it can take steps.

ICC were awarded two new cricket boards. The Federation of Timor Leste and the Cricket Union Zambia joined the global cricket community and gained a total of 110 ICC membership.
