On Thursday (July 17, 2025), the Velgatoor Police arrested three people, including two brothers, in connection with the murder of 26 years of youth on Kotilingal’s Mandal of Jagtial District.
The police identified the arrested accused as N. Raji Reddy, his brother N. Mall Reddy and friend Ch. Harish from Velgator.
According to the police, the trio allegedly stabbed the death of 26 -year -old S. Malesh, a native of the village of Kishanraopet, after he forcibly threw him on Thursday in the authorickshaw from near the winery on the road Kotilingala.
The motive of the murder was to avenge the alleged harassment of the daughter of the main accused the deceased in the name of love and veiled threats that published their morphic photographs on social media, the police said.
Another investigation is underway.
