After seven hours of grilling in fraud with more Crore spirits, the police of a special investigation team (SIT) arrested the leader of the YSR (YSRCP) congress and on Saturday there is a member of the PV Midhun Reddy parliament.
SIT staff also informed Mr. Midhun’s family members about his arrest.
The arrest of Mr. Midhun Reddy was on the cards after the Supreme Court rejected his Pela for the preliminary bail of 18 July. In total, 12 people have been arrested in the case of so far.
Investigative officers accused Mr. Midhun Reddy of playing a key role in fraud with more Crore liqueur. He was written with other accused to avert the money collected from distillery companies, it was reportedly.
Sit officials grilled Mr. Midhun Reddy, who appeared before them on Saturday, on the floating new distillers, collecting commissions from spirits traders, putting money into their companies, his links to the accused and other problems.
Mr Midhun Reddy, however, claimed that the case was politically motivated and that it was falsely involved in fraud. “I will legally fight for a false case,” Mr. Midhun Reddy told the media before I go to the SIT office.
SIT would produce Mr. Midhun Reddy (accused No. 4) at ACB Special Court in Vijayawada 20 July (Sunday).
The police arranged for close security in the SIT office in the office of the NTR police commissioner.
