A group of experts, headed by the Supreme Court Judge, submitted its findings and detailed analysis to the main minister during a meeting at the MCRHRD Institute here on Saturday, July 19. Representatives of the main Minister Malla Bhatti Vikramark, ministers and officials were present.
Mr. Revant Reddy described the survey as “Mega Health Check-up Telangana” and that “Report is not only statistics, but the basis for strengthening the position of marginalized. It will also help to shape government policy of social security,” he said.
The main minister emphasized the need to analyze differences in urban rural reports. He assured that the government would carefully consider the recommendations of the panel of experts in the creation of politics and ensure that every deserved citizens benefit from social care programs. The details of the survey have already been placed in front of the legislative assembly.
A group of experts appreciated the telangana survey as a scientific, authentic and reliable and potential model for the rest of the country. Experts believed that the methodology received was thorough and exemplary. He recommended to use data to fine -tune existing social security systems and the design of future policies focused on the rise of weaker sections and bridge unevenness.
Telangana is the first state in a country to conduct a large -scale survey that was carried out in two phases. The first phase from November 6 to December 25, 2024 included 1,03,889 enumeration and supervisors who carefully collected household data throughout the state.
In the first phase, 96.9% of households were covered, with details of 1 12.36 849 families recorded within just 36 days. The second phase from the 16th to 28th February 2025 allowed those who missed the initial list to register their details in Mee Seva centers, GHMC offices, MPDO offices and official websites.
According to the finalized data, the cost of 1,15,71,457 households and the population interviewed was 3.55.50 759. Of this population, the SC is 61.91 294 (17.42%), the ST population is 37.08 408 (10.43%), the BC population is 2.00.37 668 (56.36%) (15.89%).
