On Saturday evening, the sudden magic of heavy rain plunged a part of the Karimnagar district.
Operation on the Karimnagar-Hanamkond highway was disturbed in ShankApatnam due to a heavy downpour, the sources said. The heavy rain led to the slow movement of traffic in several other sections on the Karimnagar-Warangal parts of the NH-563, which will expand.
Meanwhile, the tribal farmer died in his cotton field after a flash in the village of Venkataya Thanda in Chandrugond Mandal of Bhadradri Kothagud was hit on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as B. Ravi, 35, was caught by a sudden rain accompanied by storms while working in his cotton field late afternoon. He was fatally hit by a flash. His wife and two children survived.
