About 80 volunteers of the community organization cleaned the temple spaces and cords in the neighborhood adjacent to it. The organization, which is an initiative to maintain and protect the rich heritage of temples, has so far expanded its services in famous temples such as Srisailam, Kanchi and several others.
“During the favorable month of Sravana, the temple authorities expect a huge rush of the temple of Shaivite to invite us to participate in the drives of purity,” said the founder of the organization and Convelor Intach Nandyal MV Sivakumar Reddy.
He added that a similar “Temple Seva” will start in Sri Raghanendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam in the Kurnool district of August 3.
