The confrontation between CRPF and Kanwariyas was reportedly running over the argument of the purchase of train tickets, India reported today.
Jawan CRPF was on his way aboard the Brahmaputra, when he was attacked, the media report said.
After the incident, the forces of rail protection (RPF) acted quickly and all seven attackers were taken into custody. After a preliminary investigation, a case against the Kanwariyas was registered.
“Seven Kanwariy has been arrested in the event of a Jawan CRPF,” the official said, according to the media report.

Police Action against Kanwariyas for using bikes without shock absorbers in muzaffarnagar
Meanwhile, the police launched an event against the Kanwariyas in Muzaffarnagar for using motorcycles without shock absorbers, a higher official said on Friday.
Police Superintendant (SP) -City, Satyanarayan Parajapat, said the Kanwariy were asked not to use motorcycles without shock absorbers.
The trader, identified as honey, was arrested for providing modified shock absorbers, Parajapat, adding that the police confiscated 12 modified shock absorbers.
More than 15 motorcycles that ran without shock absorbers were confiscated on Delhi-Ded’s National Highway, the police said.
