George Kurian’s State Minister for Minority Affairs was launched by the Skills Development Center, a minority of minority under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) at the Amal College of Advanced Studies, Nilambur, Friday 18th July.
On this occasion, Mr. Kurian said India would become a developed nation by 2047.
He said that the PMJVK system is designed to support the development in disadvantaged regions by providing top infrastructure, strengthening educational opportunities and supporting skills development. In particular, 25% of the scheme funds are set aside for minority communities for their holistic development, he said.
Mr. Kurian said future generations would have access to the most modern technology, training and infrastructure. This program will provide a scholarship of 27,000 GBP to school and university students, he said.

The government approved Crore 7.92 GBP for the Skills Development Center within the PMJVK system. The center in the center includes a seminar, an electronics laboratory, GPS survey and laboratory, IT laboratory, consulting rooms, warehouse rooms, resting rooms, toilets for disabled people, logistics laboratory, electric laboratory, water laboratory, language laboratory, language laboratory laboratory.
Mr. Kurian also inaugurated the girls’ hostel complex at the CRORE price of 9.97 GBP. Hostel can accommodate 216 girls’ students. It has 156 beds for university students and 48 beds for postgraduate students. The hostel has a track with 12 beds. In addition to the Matron room has a canteen, kitchen, grammar school, multipurpose hall and services.
