
The Srese Sankacharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) agreed on Friday (July 18) agreed to relax in disciplinary rules stored on the main campus in Kalady after interviews with students protesting against them.
The meeting, attended by representatives of Syndicate and agitating students, decided to release the timing of entry to the hostel. However, the entrance period of the hostel for university students will be at 19:30, but those who demanded to go outdoors can record their names in the movement register. They will be allowed to stay outside until 21:30
The timing of entering the hostel for postgraduate students will be 21:30, but they will be provided more time in connection with the various programs that take place on the premises. Scientists will be allowed to use the study room, although after 23 hours they have to enter their names in the register kept in hostels and study rooms after 23 hours
Students will be allowed to leave the campus for medical requirements, part -time jobs and other emergency events after obtaining a special permit. Campus’s main gate will be closed by 23:00
KS ARUNKUMKAR, a member of the Syndicate and a conference employee of the subcommittee recommended by disciplinary measures, said in communication that the problems raised students were resolved. 23rd July will be convened a meeting in order to discuss the issues facing scientists on the premises. He said that steps would be taken to implement the tourism project in the main campus.
