Students experienced practical training on various satellites on a two -day “satellite workshop” organized by the Regional Science Center Tirupati in cooperation with Chennai Space Kidz India.
This event, as part of the “Space Week 2025”, gave the platform the next generation of cosmic enthusiasts by combining the spirit of survey and scientific teaching.
The first daily activities were thematic “astronomy, satellite and water rocket”, where the participants explored the functionality of satellites, their structural design and electronics that powered them.
Demonstrations of team rockets to illustrate the principles of drive and aerodynamics have added excitement. “The second and third day will honor the scientific fraternity for a monumental milestone of the lunar survey, where students will be encouraged to design, build and test their own satellites,” said RSC Srinivasa, the coordinator of the RSC Srinivasa project.
