Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) warned devoted to a false Facebook account created on the name of his executive officer on Friday.
The account is reportedly used to send suspicious messages, including requests for money that TTD condemned as a fraudulent and mislead act by some miscreants.
TTD also warned devoted to the fall of the prey and urged them to proceed with caution when receiving unsolicited messages.
The devotees are recommended to keep on from fake accounts and report any suspicious activity of the Vigilance TTD department on 9866898630 or free number 1800 425 4141, a statement published by TTD.
To ensure authenticity, TTD has repeated that the devotees should only rely on the information provided on its official website www.tirumala.org or verified social media handles.
