Venizula, 31, from Fathim Nagar, Nanjikottai Road, Thanjavur, thwarted an attempt to grab a gold chain on Friday by a duo -transmitted motorcycle.
According to the police, the crime was committed on 18 July in Yagappa Nagar, while Venizula returned home to her scooter after dropping her daughter at her school in Yagapp Nagar. The duo transmitted by the motorcycle stopped her and one of them tried to pull out a golden chain.
When she resisted their attempt, she fell by holding a gold chain. When she saw her falling out of her vehicle, the others rushed to help her. The duo transmitted by the motorcycle escaped from the place. The Thanjavur Police South Police registered the case and investigated.
