
The Minister of the Municipal Administration and the Development of the Cities of P. Narayan said on Friday that the state government is determined to bring revolutionary changes to the city landscape of Anantapore despite financial restrictions.
The Minister, who took part in the initiative of “Subapalan Tholi Adugu”, said that the administration of the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida proved to be an indication point in providing a good administration of public affairs. “As part of our election promises, we supply roads, drainage system maintenance, drinking water and a wealth of social systems, regardless of political association,” he added.
Mr. Narayana claimed that the government focuses on key social care programs that include free LPG war, NTR Bharosa pensions, Anna Canteens and Thalliki Vandanam, in addition to Mega DSC for recruitment.
He stressed that the employment of women and youth was assigned to maximum importance, except for the revival of mega irrigation projects such as Polavaram and Handri Neeva, and other projects associated with ports, finishing ports and airports, steel plants and railway lines. “The industry would always remain the backbone of the economic recovery. We will change the face of the state very soon,” the Minister said.
Later, the Minister reviewed civic works at Anantapur Corporation and other municipalities in the district. At an inspection meeting with housing officials and city departments, the Minister ordered to identify the availability of other land within the anantapur Hindupur Urban Development Authority for the development of MIG layout and increase the urban infrastructure.
He reiterated that officials should focus on quality land near city centers and be prepared with plans to create roads, drainage and other basic equipment for the proposed layout. Mr. Narayana said that smaller municipalities would also receive special attention and earn funds for balanced development.
