Kerala man slits wife’s throat in front of four children

A 36-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband at their rented house near Nalanchira in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, in the wee hours of Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Haseena Beevi.

According to the Nalanchira police, the eldest of her four children, who were all present in the house at the time of the incident, reported the murder.

Suresh, her husband, who is believed to have committed the murder, is currently on the run.

According to police, the woman was found with her throat slit inside an upstairs room of the home. It appears that marital problems between the couple led to the crime. In recent days, there have been serious conflicts between them.

The body was taken to the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram for post-mortem.

The police have launched a search for the accused.
