Hindu Huddle on Campus will be held at Amity University, Bengaluru on June 3
Amity University’s edition of Hindu Huddle on Campus will focus on the topic: “Are platforms like Instagram and TikTok harming students’ mental health more than helping?”
In an era dominated by constant notifications, endless scrolling and shrinking attention spans, meaningful conversations have never been more important. Recognizing the need to create space for dialogue, debate and critical thinking among the youth, The Hindu is bringing its flagship youth engagement platform – The Hindu Huddle on Campus – to Amity University, Bengaluru on June 3.
A precursor to The Hindu Huddle, The Hindu’s acclaimed conclave of thought leaders, the ‘Huddle on Campus’ series is designed to engage young minds through powerful discussions on issues shaping society, education, politics, technology and mental health.
The upcoming edition at Amity University will focus on a timely and relevant topic: “Are platforms like Instagram and TikTok harming students’ mental health more than they help?”
The session aims to create an open floor for students to think about how platforms like Instagram and TikTok impact self-esteem, emotional well-being, social interactions, productivity and overall mental health, while exploring the opportunities they create for learning, creativity and community building. The event will bring students together for an engaging exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The Huddle on Campus conversation will also serve as a gateway to the flagship two-day conclave, The Hindu Huddle, to be held in Bengaluru on June 5 and 6. Outstanding and highly engaging students from the campus edition will get an opportunity to showcase their ideas, perspectives and talent on the main Huddle platform alongside some of the country’s top creators, leaders and politicians.
The initiative is presented by Sami-Sabinsa Group as a presenting partner. The event is co-sponsored by the Government of Telangana and is being held in association with Khaja Bandanawaz University.
The event is further supported by:
