Fadnavis later got his political revenge when Eknath Shinde led a dramatic rebellion in 2022, divided Shiv hay and created a government with the support of BJP.
Since the election victory in 2024, Chief Minister Shinde reportedly hesitated to give up power back to Fadnavis, despite their alliance providing a strong mandate.
Meanwhile, he talks about the possible reconciliation between Cousiny Thackeray – Uddhav and MNS chief Raj Thackeray – gets the ground. Buzz intensified after both appeared together on stage 5. July for the first time in 20 years.
