When India prepared for her fourth test against England in Manchester, new concerns appeared from the training camp. Pacer Arshdeep Singh, who was in the group, but was only debut, was seen by his bowling arm – left – bandaged during the training of the team 17 July.

Despite the consistent performance in the cricket of the white ball, the IPL and the productive stint in the regional cricket, Arshdeep is still waiting for his first test cap. With the rise of the comeback series, his condition could be vital to Indian plans.
The Indian camp has not yet issued any official update regarding its status. But with the match just a few days away, the Arshdeep status will be carefully monitored – not only as a backup, but perhaps as a key weapon if India is trying to move their pace battery.
