India (PCI) and the Indian female press club expressed concern about accommodation for the first information report against journalists Ajit Anjum in connection with its coverage of special intensive revision of electoral roles in Bihar.
The printing bodies said the case concerned its YouTube channel, which shows the process of revision carried out in the Begusarai district. “Reporting facts are the primary and most important duty of every journalist and certainly does not fall into the category of disinformation spread,” they said.
“Instead of publishing clarification, the administration has chosen a legal disability, which has resulted in accommodation against journalists. The imposition of the case raises serious issues concerning the freedom of printing and assembly problems in democratic determination,” the press bodies were protected.
In another letter, PCI condemned the physical attack on Sneha Barwe, founder of Editor Samarth Bharat and the SBP YouTube channel, 4 July, while in Pune Manchar documented the “illegal construction of the river”. Passers -by who came to help were also defeated. It is said between the suspects that it is a historical opening that operates two liqueur bars in this area, is named in the case of murder and has often been charged with penetration.
PCI urged the state government and local authorities to ensure that measures against attackers were taken.
